I’ve been using the Equate (walmart) version of this product for years. Suddenly about three weeks ago it disappeared from the shelves. Things often disappear from the shelves in Walmart. Sometimes they return and sometimes they don’t. Anyway, I decided to give this product a try. Kirkland’s 2mg Nicotine gum is virtually identical to the Equate product and considerably cheaper. I payed $30.98 plus tax per 120 count box for the Equate. Here You get two boxes with 190 pieces of gum in each box for $61.98 total. No extra for shipping or taxes. The Equate cost me 28 cents apiece. The Kirkland cost me a little over 16 cents apiece. The satisfaction is the same so going with the Kirkland, for me, is a no-brainer.

First off, I’m thankful this gum is NOT coated and the taste is neutral without the sweetness of mint, cinnamon or fruit. This gum is really not bad tasting. I used to buy Walmart’s Equate brand before but sticking with this now. Tastes the same and this is cheaper. When I went to Walmart, half the time they were out of stock. I can just order here on Amazon and it’s here before you know it.

I tried KIrkland brand since it would be shipped sooner. What I like about this 2mg nicotine gum is that the flavor is pleasant without sweet or a mint taste. Secondly, it seems the nicotine lasts longer, I’m actually able to go longer between doses. Also the gum doesn’t get hard while chewing, it remains softer. So, the price was like Habitrol and I like it. So I’ll buy this again.

OK, at first I missed the sweet mint taste of Nicorette gum, but these are quite decent and much, much cheaper. I highly recommend this product. I’m a Costco member, so next time I go I am going to see if they have these for less. I am very satisfied with the product, and the less-than-sweet flavor of Nicorette has helped me cut down on how much gum I chew. It’s only a matter of time before I just stop chewing the gum and am totally nicotine-free.

Personally, the flavor of this gum is more preferable than the other brand names because I can’t stand anything that has even a hint of mint flavor; and cinnamon gum eventually burns, making my mouth break out in sores. For me, it’s trading cigarette addiction for another addiction, but it’s less a life-threatening addiction than cigarettes. Unfortunately, been addicted to the gum for years. AND, I still have that occasional couple of hits of a cigarette. But haven’t given up on quitting them both entirely. For now, it serves its purpose.

This does not taste like a gum, but if a gum died and came back as a zombie, this would be it. It’s similar to biting into a ball of wax. The packaging is super annoying as you have to detach every square, then peel back the foil on top. I can’t believe I have 380 pieces of this to go.
